Thank you, Laura, for your thoughtful gathering and encouragement.
You assembled some real meat to chew on — the kind that makes a person stop, consider, and take in what God may be showing through so many voices.
I stand humbled to be included alongside some other powerful writers, in a crowd of God-fearing, God-loving people. May He continue to unfold me under His guidance and use whatever He has placed in my hands for His glory.
You just said it so well — there really is a difference between progress and busyness. Sometimes moving things around only hides them better, but bringing them into the light lets the Lord show us what is useful, what is weight, and what has quietly become an anchor.
And you are so right — it is not just physical stuff. It is emotional stuff, habitual stuff, old patterns, old protections, and all the things we carry without realizing how heavy they have become.
I love how you are letting Him simplify, clarify, and bring things into the light. That is surrender. That is movement. That is freedom.
Oh brother dear, you moved me more with this than I can put into words at this time. I have been feeling the difference between progress and business lately with my many projects trying to simplify my life and stuff.putting stuff in the closet is busy, putting stuff in the light let’s you see if it’s useful to take you forward, or being an anchor. Stuff not just meaning physical items, but all the things emotional and habitual. Thank you for sharing perspectives that help clarify and guide our life towards Christ and total surrender. Love
My new mantra>>>
"Not there. Here.
Not that voice. Mine.
Not that circle. This way."
🖤

Such a great treasure box, this is what spoke to me,Because peace is not the absence of movement.
Peace is knowing Who is leading the movement.”
So appreciate you sharing this. I thank You for the encouragement. G ~
Soul stirring reflections! I so enjoyed reading this, Greg.
I loved this line “It is where the harvest waits just below the surface.” Such depth and bounty!
