MOSAIC OF GOD’S GRACE AND COLORS
Each shade, a story. Each heart, a prayer. Together—a masterpiece of His presence.
The women God gathered—each carrying her own story, gift, color, and calling.
On Saturday morning, the prayer team for the Influencers Women’s Conference gathered in our home.
They came to pray, to plan, to listen, and to seek God’s direction for Life in Color, Covered by Grace.
But as I watched them together, I saw more than a ministry team.
I saw a mosaic.
Each woman carried her own history, her own season, her own gifts, her own wounds, her own victories, and her own color. No two were the same. None were meant to be.
Yet when God brought them together, their differences did not compete.
They reflected.
They strengthened one another.
They became something together that none of them could have become alone.
That is the beauty of a mosaic. Every small piece has its own shape and shade, but the full picture appears only when the pieces are placed beside one another by the hand of the Artist.
These women are a mosaic of God’s grace and colors.
COLOR MEANINGS IN GOD’S GRACE
Purple and Pink
A blend of these shades represents God’s abundant and tender grace—His royal authority joined with compassion, gentleness, and love.
Red and Scarlet
These colors point to the blood of Jesus, His sacrifice, and the redemptive power of the cross. Scarlet reminds us that grace was not inexpensive. It was purchased through Christ.
White
White reflects purity, holiness, cleansing, and the righteousness we receive through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
Gold and Yellow
These colors signify the radiant glory, majesty, goodness, and everlasting presence of God. Gold also reminds us that faith is refined through fire and made precious in His hands.
Blue
Blue represents God’s holiness, faithfulness, peace, and nearness—the assurance that He remains “God with us” in every season.
Black
Black represents depth, strength, mystery, endurance, and the places where God meets us when the way is not yet clear. It reminds us that even in seasons of grief, suffering, and uncertainty, His presence remains near. What appears hidden to us is never hidden from Him, and no darkness is beyond the reach of Christ’s light.
No color stands alone.
Joy is made deeper by the sorrow God has carried us through. Healing becomes more precious when we remember the wound. Light becomes unmistakable after darkness.
In God’s hands, no faithful color is wasted.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
THE GATHERING
Saturday’s gathering began around a table.
Before the assignments, there was fellowship.
Before the conference plans, there was prayer.
Before these women were asked to carry grace to others, they were reminded that grace had already carried them.
Days before the gathering, Marty asked me to pray over the women. I received that request as a sacred responsibility. I sat down and considered what I truly wanted to ask the Lord to do—not only through them, but within them first.
THE HIVE
I thought about the hive.
I thought about the way every bee carries a different responsibility, yet the life of the hive depends upon all of them.
One gathers.
One guards.
One nourishes.
One prepares what others will someday receive.
No bee auditions for a more visible assignment. The hive survives because each one faithfully carries what she was created to carry.
The same was true around our table.
Every woman present carried something another woman needed.
Different responsibilities. One living hive. Each carrying what she was created to carry.
THE ENTRANCE
The prayer booklet prepared for the gathering included the image of propolis—the substance bees use to seal, protect, and help preserve the health of the hive, especially around its entrance.
That image became a picture of the prayer team’s calling.
They are not gatekeepers deciding who belongs.
They are servants of the entrance—praying over the atmosphere and preparing a place where every woman who enters may encounter the cleansing, covering grace of God, and every woman who leaves may carry that grace into the world around her.
Christ alone is the door.
The Holy Spirit alone cleanses and transforms hearts.
But these women pray, prepare, welcome, listen, and serve so that the entrance is ready for God to move.
Every woman who enters encounters grace. Every woman who leaves carries it.
THE PRAYER I DID NOT EXPECT
Before they prayed over the women who will attend the conference, they gathered around me and prayed over my health.
There was another moment that Saturday I was not expecting.
I have been prayed for before, but there are moments when prayer reaches a place deeper than words.
This was one of those moments.
I sat down when they asked me, surrounded by women of faith, listening as they carried my name, my body, my needs, and my future before the Lord.
I was deeply moved.
I still am…
Humbled.
Grateful.
And strengthened.
Their prayer was my reward that morning.
I had prepared a meal.
I had prepared words.
I had prepared to bless them.
But God, in His kindness, allowed them to bless me.
It was needed more than they could have known.
Sometimes the greatest blessing is not being the one who speaks the prayer.
Sometimes it is being humble enough to receive it.
These women reminded me that those who pour into others also know how to gather around someone who needs to be carried.
They did not simply pray near me.
They prayed over me.
And I will not forget it.
HONORING THE WOMEN
To the women who gathered in our home:
Thank you for your obedience.
Thank you for your faith.
Thank you for your tenderness and strength.
Thank you for the visible work and the hidden work.
Thank you for every prayer faithfully lifted before the Lord, every name you remember, every burden you carry, and every doorway you quietly prepare for His grace to enter.
Thank you for allowing Marty and me to open our home to you.
Thank you for the prayer you spoke over my health.
You may never fully know what it meant to me, but Heaven does.
You are not simply planning a conference.
You are preparing a place where women may remember who they are in Christ.
You are making room for the weary woman.
The grieving woman.
The hopeful woman.
The woman who has forgotten her worth.
The woman who needs to hear again:
I am who God says I am.
I am deeply loved.
I am covered by grace.
My story has purpose.
My life is being woven into His masterpiece.
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13 NKJV
CLOSING BLESSING
May the Lord bless each of you.
May He strengthen your bodies, refresh your spirits, guard your homes, deepen your friendships, and keep you united in love.
May He remind you that you were loved before you were ever asked to serve.
You were prayed over before you were ever asked to pray.
You were covered by grace before you were ever asked to extend grace.
And may every color God has placed within your life become part of the masterpiece He is creating through you.
With all our love and gratitude,
Gregrey & Marty Marchand
